At Beam Medical we believe technology should enhance not impede the delivery of radiation therapy. We do not believe that either you or your clinical staff should have to make difficult trade-offs in patient triage when your software systems are down.
Our Story
The Beginning

Our Founder has spent almost 30 years in the Radiation Oncology field developing, managing, delivering and supporting software applications and IT systems. With a M.,Sc in Physics, Gerald used his knowledge to develop software for treatment planning and patient management for the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.
At Varian as a co-creator of Varian's FullScale Managed Services product line he sought to alleviate customer stress in managing their IT systems and allow them to focus on the treatment of patients.

Even prior to developing the FullScale Cloud product Gerald identified the vulnerabilities in delivering data over distributed network systems especially in a treatment context. Drawing on his years supporting cancer specialists at the Cancer Center and at Varian he was inspired to develop a robust solution that could be rapidly and widely deployed at Cancer treatment centers across the World.
